To Keep
This installation started with a collection of found photos. On the backs of the photos 'To Keep' had been written. Representing them brought them back from the discarded memories they had become and presenting them in an environment that easily conjured up an image of the owner plays on the presumptions and inbuilt associations we all have.

This piece is a collection of memories from separate lives, brought together to create a new identity. Pictures and mementos span from birth to death and touch on the lives of those close. The only clue to this 'Frankenstein' installation is the sign that sits quietly outside, leaving people to learn as much or as little as they wish.
